Marko Grobelnik<\/strong>\u00a0is involved in acquiring, execution and management of several EU funded projects from Framework Programmes\u00a0FP5<\/a>,\u00a0FP6<\/a>,\u00a0FP7<\/a>\u00a0and now in H2020.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0European Research Area (ERA)<\/a>\u00a0is a system of scientific research programs integrating the scientific resources of the European Union (EU). It promotes multi-national co-operation in various\u00a0fields of\u00a0research. Its purpose is to increase the competitiveness of European research institutions by bringing them together and encouraging a more inclusive way of working. \u2018Framework programmes\u2019 (FPs) have been the main financial tools through which the European Union supports research and development activities covering almost all scientific disciplines.<\/p>\n

In the period between 2000 and 2010 the group acquired approximately 10 million euro of European funding of EC contribution.<\/p>\n
